If You Want to Improve Your Career and Get Paid More by Your Boss, You Should Put in Less Effort at Work.

If you have worked your ass off at work but have gotten nothing in return, stop and take a breath.

Today, I want to explain how to create a career without working like a dog for hours on end, stockpiling commitment upon commitment.

You have probably been told, “Do your best and, sooner or later, they will reward you.”

Well, it doesn’t work like that — at least, it hardly ever does. To make a career, you have to be better than everyone else, not just do more.

You have to make them better and allow them to make a difference to your boss.

I gained first-hand experience in this before starting my own business and becoming a successful Italian entrepreneur. Now I teach this stuff to my collaborators.

Putting in too much effort at work won’t help you advance in your career. It will simply make you more stressed and tired, not to mention less productive.

In the end, you will achieve terrible results and be exhausted for the rest of your life.

It’s like going for a run. Would you run better with a 10kg weight on your shoulders, or without one?
